So, like everyother Avatar fan out there, I have OC's. This was really more like a practice coloring with Corel then anything. (Note the lack of shadows and abundance of textures.) So I wanted a simple picture to start with, rather than a whole comic. I'm not sure what I like better. I ended up with like... sixteen layers so yeah... It confuzzles me.

But really quick backstory. The one in the back is Zhen, a past Avatar. (The earth before Kiyoshi to be exact.) And the girl in front is her cousin, Kou. They're supposed to be 16 and 14 respectivly, but I'm horrible with portraying ages.

A simple way to put their characters is that Zhen is like Mai, if Mai were Azula and less depressing... and if Zuko had already descended the throne. Kou is like Aang, but less perky and definately NOT the avatar. I'm not even sure if Kou's a bender... She just kind of popped up when I made Zhen and demanded that she be in the picture.

If anyone's interested, though I don't know who would be, I'll post more on their backstory and stuff. But until then, this was just a practice.
